On June 20, 2024, representatives of the Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Agency participated in the first Urban Forum, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Spatial and Urban Development Agency (LEPL) with the support of the United Nations-Habitat (UN-Habitat) at the Expo Georgia exhibition site.
The opening ceremony was attended by Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia; Katia Shafer, Interregional Advisor at UN-Habitat; Ioane Menabde, Head of the Spatial and Urban Development Agency; representatives of the central and local governments; and experts in the field.
