From May 20 to 23, 2025, Mikhail Gurtskaya, Executive Director of the Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Agency, and Ramin Ismailov, Deputy Executive Director of the same agency, participated in the Georgian-Uzbek Business Forum together with a Georgian business delegation at the invitation of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was attended by about 60 leading Georgian companies from various sectors: agriculture | food industry | construction | logistics | IT | tourism | healthcare | financial sector and others. From the Uzbek side, about 200 companies and representatives of the public sector participated in the forum. Uzbek business circles got acquainted with investment opportunities in Georgia, including the Kvemo Kartli region. Within the framework of the forum, representatives of Georgian companies were given the opportunity to participate in bilateral business meetings, establish connections with large Uzbek companies, discuss investment opportunities, prospects for future cooperation and potential partnership.
