On February 3, 2026, Grigol Zeraghia, Executive Director of the Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Agency, participated in a working meeting held at the Kvemo Kartli Governor's Office between Governor Ilia Jalaganiya and Keta Meladze, Head of the Association of Georgian Guides.
The meeting focused on the effective use of Kvemo Kartli's tourism potential and the region's real development prospects.
Specific steps were discussed to enhance its tourism appeal, create new routes, and promote them.
It was noted that raising awareness of Kvemo Kartli and its proper representation on Georgia's tourism map is a top priority.
The region possesses unique cultural and natural resources, the proper management and targeted promotion of which will significantly accelerate its development.
