On November 13, 2025, Gocha Loria, a representative of the Kvemo Kartli Regional Development Agency, participated in a meeting held at the Rustavi City Council at the initiative of Rustavi City Council Chairman Mamuka Rekhviashvili. The meeting was attended by members of the Rustavi City Council, representatives of the regional department of the Kvemo Kartli Environmental Supervision Department, and the Rustavi City Hall.
At the meeting, it was noted that, in accordance with the requirements of the Rustavi Air Quality Management Plan after 2020, despite the progress of self-monitoring and the installation and improvement of modern filtration systems at most of the city's businesses, the environmental situation in Rustavi remains challenging. According to the participants, the goal of the meeting is to improve the environmental situation in Rustavi, not to close or fine businesses.
At the meeting, an agreement was reached on close cooperation within their respective areas of expertise.
